MedSeek was initially launched as a fast product experiment. The goal was to validate demand quickly, put the product in front of real users, and understand whether an AI-powered medical assistant with traceable sources could gain traction. That hypothesis proved to be right. The product started scaling, usage increased, and the platform quickly evolved beyond its initial validation stage. The problem was that the website had not evolved at the same pace. It had been created using an AI site builder during the early launch phase, which was useful for speed but left major quality gaps once the product began to mature. Performance was low, SEO foundations were incomplete, accessibility issues were serious, and the overall page did not communicate the product clearly enough to convert visitors into active users.
This created a structural mismatch. The product was becoming more credible, more useful, and more valuable, while the website still looked and behaved like an early-stage prototype. For a health-related AI product, that gap is especially risky. Users need clarity, trust, and technical confidence before testing a new tool, and the old site was not creating that level of reassurance. One of the biggest missed opportunities was the free trial. MedSeek already had a strong entry point because users could start testing the product without friction, but the previous page did not present that advantage with enough clarity or persuasion. In practice, one of the best product levers was not being converted into adoption.
The approach: turn a fast-launch website into a credible growth platform
The redesign was approached as more than a visual upgrade. The goal was to rebuild the website as a credible acquisition layer for a product that had already proven its relevance. That meant strengthening positioning, simplifying understanding, fixing technical weaknesses, and building a much stronger bridge between curiosity and trial. The first decision was to clarify what MedSeek actually is and why it matters. Instead of a vague AI narrative, the new site was structured around the product’s most powerful differentiators: clinical reasoning, medical-domain training, clear answers, and fully traceable sources. This positioning was essential because MedSeek is not just another general-purpose chatbot. It is a clinical support product designed for a very specific audience that values precision, source visibility, and confidence in the origin of information.
The second decision was to evolve the language of the website so it felt aligned with doctors and medical students. The tone became more technical, more direct, and more coherent with the way this audience consumes information. Instead of generic startup language, the site began to reflect the product’s actual context: evidence-based medicine, traceability, and trust.
The third major decision was to stop relying on static or outdated showcase material. The old presentation layer was based on a weak video that no longer represented the product well. To solve that, I designed a responsive “fake interface” directly inside the website, simulating the product experience with light functionality and realistic content. This became one of the strongest parts of the redesign because it gave users a much more faithful sense of what MedSeek actually is, how it behaves, and how it can be used in practice. At the same time, the structure of the page was redesigned to support both conversion and comprehension. A more robust FAQ was created to address common doubts with clearer, easier-to-read answers, while the full page architecture was reorganized to reduce friction and reinforce value progressively.
The execution: rebuilding clarity, trust, and technical quality
The execution focused on three major fronts working together: technical recovery, conversion improvement, and better product demonstration. From a technical perspective, the redesign resolved serious quality issues that were actively harming both usability and discoverability. Performance increased from 49 to 99, accessibility from 72 to 99, best practices from 90 to 100, and SEO from 72 to 100. Based on the most critical performance benchmark, this represents an increase of approximately 102% in performance score, transforming the site from a weak technical asset into a highly optimized experience.
Accessibility was one of the most urgent issues addressed. The previous version had buttons without accessible names, which caused screen readers to announce them only as “button”, making essential actions unusable for blind and low-vision users. Links also lacked discernible names, making navigation ambiguous and reducing semantic clarity across the page. In addition, some buttons had insufficient contrast, which made key actions harder to perceive and interact with. These problems were corrected through proper labeling, stronger semantic structure, and improved visual contrast.
SEO also required a full rebuild. The previous site lacked a robust keyword strategy, underused heading hierarchy, had shallow metadata, weak internal linking, and insufficient text depth for important queries related to AI in medicine and clinical reasoning tools. Content structure was revised to create stronger semantic relevance, improve crawlability, and support better ranking potential. The FAQ also contributed to this strategy by expanding useful, indexable content around real user questions. Conversion improvements came from making the product easier to understand and easier to try. Messaging became clearer, CTAs became more direct, the free trial gained stronger visibility, and the showcase layer became substantially more effective. Instead of asking users to imagine how the product worked, the site now lets them understand it much faster through a realistic simulated interface.
As a result, the website stopped acting as a passive institutional layer and became an active growth tool. Estimated free trial conversion improved from 2.8% to 6.9%, representing a lift of roughly 146% in trial adoption efficiency. Organic traffic also grew significantly after the SEO overhaul, with estimated monthly organic sessions increasing by around 118% within the first six months after launch. The downstream effect was equally important: more users started testing the platform, and a larger share of those users moved from free exploration into paid subscription plans. This gave the product a much stronger acquisition and monetization foundation at a stage when trust, clarity, and discoverability were essential for growth.
The result: a website aligned with the product’s real maturity
The redesigned MedSeek website created a much more coherent relationship between product quality and digital presence. It gave the platform the level of clarity, trust, and technical polish that its growth stage demanded. Instead of looking like an improvised launch page, the website now behaves like a serious acquisition layer for a credible health AI product. That shift matters because MedSeek operates in a context where users need to feel secure before adopting something new. Source traceability, medical relevance, and product usability are not secondary messages, they are core adoption drivers. The redesign made those strengths visible, understandable, and easier to experience.

Beyond visual improvement, the redesign directly impacted acquisition quality and product adoption. Performance more than doubled, trial conversion increased from 2.8% to 6.9%, and organic traffic grew substantially after the SEO rebuild. With a more faithful showcase, stronger technical foundations, and a clearer message, the website became a much more effective bridge between product discovery, free trial, and paid subscription growth.
